Toaster won't blacken toast easily
Works well enough but my wife likes toast with a slight black crust and it has to be run through both sides of the toaster - with each side set to max darkness - to achieve that. Pretty flimsy
I'm not impressed with this product. The lever to pull down is flimsy and feels like it will break. The timer for toasting is not precise at all as the bread pops up at this same time. It's quick and easy to use, but feels fragile...like this product needs some modifications to make it an "A" class product. I have other "Brentwood" products and thought to stay true to their small home appliances. Unfortunately, this is the first from this manufacturer that I'm not pleased with. You get what you pay for
I was happy to find a toaster for such a good price. I just threw away a toaster that didn't toast my toast evenly. The toaster is nice looking, but it's so light weight, when you push down the lever to get the bread down, the toaster slides across the counter top. Not fond of this toaster, the reason why I titled this"you get what you pay for." I would pay EXTRA for an AMERICAN MADE toaster. Don’t waste your money!
The toaster I received only starts to brown bread on a setting of “3”. Only the outside elements work, so one side gets brown and the other is only hard. Not only that, it is made out of very cheap materials.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
