This card is just... alright. I am testing it for use in small form factor Optiplex cases as a 1080p 60 FPS gaming card. It can barely pull it off in about half the titles tested. And that would be okay, but the thing runs hard, hovers around 55 C, and is quite loud just navigating windows. It has comparable specs to the GTX 750 Ti, $110.00, and the R7 240 2GDDR5, $85.00, but runs around $135.00. If this card was also in the $85.00 range then it would be a bargain. Currently, it’s about $50.00 too expensive. But if you tweak the heck out of your system, it will pull off 1080p 60, loudly, in many popular titles. It’s not a bad card, it’s just a little loud, and a little over priced.

  • Works!

For an older upper mid range card it works well, uses 55 watts, it runs in Linux but I was unable to get opencl working in Linux, win10 64 with AMD legacy driver got opencl working . So far overclocked from 800mhz to 880mhz I upped the ram mhz by 10% as well. Plays older games fine but I didn’t buy it for gaming anyhow. Low watts , 512 cores, works for what I needed and it is low profile + cheap ;)

  • Not too effective.

I purchased this because it was recommended by Dell for my OptiPlex 5040's low power supply. It didn't help my video editing software app much at all. It knocked off about 20 min. of a 3 hr. rendering process for a 97 min. video project. I would have kept it but I found the loud fan annoying.

I wanted a cheap AMD card with a DisplayPort connector to put into my Linux machine. This card does the job.
