Huge Diiference Maker
These tuners arrived quickly in new, pristine condition. Once put on my Dean 1980 Cadillac Re-Issue (replacing the original, gold, non-locking Roto-matics) which took me all of 30 minutes to do, I tuned to pitch and immediately discovered the benefits of locking Roto-matics (I have locking Gotohs on my t-caster style guitar and love them as well). The guitar stays in tune regardless of how rambunctiously I play, and gig after gig they continue to show their worth! The Grovers are extremely well made, have a beautiful black/chrome finish on them, and come with a lifetime warranty which is always a plus, should one fail mechanically for some reason. I would highly recommend these tuners to any guitarist who would rather spend less time tuning and more time playing...and playing in-tune versus being flat or sharp in the middle of a song.

NOTHING NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THESE!
I put these on most of my Gibson type builds. These are direct fit for most Gibson necks and are easy to install. They look great. They function flawlessly and they make changing string as easy as it gets. Nothing not to like about that.

Grover Roto-Grip 502BC Locking Rotomatic Tuning Machines
There's really not much to say here, they're absolutely beautifully made and function at such high quality that nothing else even comes close. I put them on all my guitars, whether gold, nickel or black, and change the buttons to either Keystones or Imperials. If you have older or smaller holes in your headstock, you only need drill the hole wide from the back of the headstock, halfway in, slightly wider, and which takes only a second.
