Poor Quality Knock off Battery.
The battery dimensions were about 1/16 of an inch too big. Length and width. I had to push it in, more like force it in to get it seated. I replaced many battery's in cell phones but this battery was a lemon. The plug in cable was misaligned, I had to stretch it both left and up to get it to plug in. After all this hassle the battery did work but it definitely was a knock off and of poor quality.

I put it in myself but I use to be a mechanic. A bit nervous about taking my phone apart because of the small parts and everything was plastic. I've tried it before and found that other batteries will not connect properly and had to put the phone back together with the old battery. This battery connected perfectly and is working satisfactory so far. I have no way to know for a fact that it's a new battery or not tho. It looks new and says Samsung on it and for the price and quick delivery I say thumbs up. I'm actually thinking about buying another one just to have around in case this one should need to be replaced. The original battery is getting hard to find for these antique phones! Lol. I hope this is helpful to someone. Videos are available online how to do it.

OEM- I don't think so.
I installed this battery, the day I got it. It lasted just over a month. The phone has been heating up, the last week. I thought it was my imagination. How could a new OEM be doing this. Today the battery heated up, to the point. That the phone shut down. Don't waste your money, here.

Battery ok, installation a pain
Nothing wrong with the design of the battery itself. Samsung made installation very hard for the average user and unless you are unusually gifted. It involves breaking the glued unit and taking out 10 minature screws and then regluing.

Don't buy
Had to go to a shop to replace the battery, and the person told me it' a "refurbished" battery (used??) It doesn't say in the page it's an old/used battery, as far as i can see.. It also acts like a used battery, and lasts only 30 mins(!) absolute garbage waste of time

Used or defective battery sold as new
This was not a good purchase. I bought the battery because the one in my phone was overheating. .. a sign that it was going bad. I had it installed at the Sprint store by professionals. The battery overheats.. it was either a used battey or a defective battery. It works but gets very hot... just like the old one.

Battery looked great, I have not installed yet but all looked good very fast shipping. I would deal with the people again the battery was for my wife’s phone. I think she was just not plugging the charger in enough but now I have an extra battery when I do need it. As always Ebay and the majority of people I have dealing’s with have been great.

Battery isn't able to perform as new
While it's OEM as advertised, it was shipped far too low on charge (13%) and for a lithium ion polymer that can damage a battery. At least it does in RC airplanes/quadcopters/helicopters. The battery lasts longer than my old one, but still doesn't perform like new by any measure.
