Excellent lens, as advertised.
I was looking for a very wide angle lightweight 4/3 lens to put on Panasonic GH4 for landscape and astrophotography work. This seemed very suitable when I read reviews and so far its been excellent. I haven't yet tried it for Astro work (and I'm conscious my GH4 isn't the best for this) but if any lens will do the job its a super-wide angle like this at f2.0. For me one of the best features is the SUPURB CLOSE FOCUS feature. I can get foreground flowers in perfect focus, really very close up (min focus distance is 12cm I think) with the background mountains either in focus or, if not then at least within the picture to give context to the subject. Great lens. I got mine a little cheaper than is standardly advertised so for me it has been good value for money. Its not weather sealed and I'l be doing a lot of wilderness/outside work with it.....we'll see if it holds up...so far so god though...Read full review

Lightweight Ultra Wide Lens for Olympus & Panasonic
Superb, Wide, Fast, Lightweight and Compact. Ideal for use on Micro 4/3 cameras. Makes Astro photography even easier, Terrific for architecture The only downsides are that it is manual focus (not really an issue) and there is no exif data.

Great wide angle M43 lens
Nice and wide. Manual focus is quite easy with it. Centre is sharp and edges are sharp when stopped down. Slight vignette but fixable in post. Solid metal build. Included lens hood is solid too.

Pretty Overrated Lens ! !
I found my copy of this lens to have quality issues, which I found out later was normal with this brand and make. So many corners have been cut. On the subject of corner.....soft corners were very noticeable even when stopped down to f5.6 when using with Panasonic GH5S. Focus ring was not accurate alignment with scale and the mount was also showing some play. Chromatic averberations were terrible even stopped down. I feel this lens is a glorified C-Mount CCTV lens and is not worth the price. I ended up buying a Kowa Prominar 8.5mm f2.8 and Olympus 7-14mm f2.8 of which I am very satisfied.
