Very happy with this router and the company!
I purchased this as a second range extender. I have been using the Almond for several years now and anytime I have needed help, which has only been a couple times, the company has been great and always able to solve the problem. The router is very easy to use and since adding the second one as a range extender now it works great everywhere in the house and outside, which was what we wanted the extended range for. Did not work because of conflicts with IP Address
I had a very tough time with this Almond N Router Range Extender. I use New Wave router and for some reason this Almond used a conflicting IP address and caused my network to go south? I tried the sync feature, but that did not work and then I just tried to unplug and run the Almond in Extender mode and my WiFi locked up and stopped working. Again I think it is broadcasting different IP address than my router or will not work with my router in parallel. It's a shame because I read great reviews on the Almond, but maybe it's the Arris Router New Wave uses is not compatible. I just unplugged the Almond and threw on the pile of failed tech. Great a router/bridge/extender
I have an Ethernet outlet in my basement but the wifi is no good, and I have multiple items at the tv that I want to plug into Ethernet so this was perfect. I plug the 1 Ethernet into this, then it emits wifi for my phone and laptop, and I plug my media box and Xbox into it to give them both a hard wired Ethernet connection. It was a bait and switch
