Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Hard Drives
The Hard drive came as advertised and working. If I had to nit pick anything wrong it would have to be the packaging and that there was some files on the hard drive which I deleted. If you need a Xbox 360 hard he has you covered.

Pros: - Cheap in price - Modest storage outside of games - Works right out of the box Cons: - Not really wiped of data (some installed games were found. I later deleted them and formatted HDD) - Not exactly 20 GB (but it's more of the manufactures limiting the exact capacity) Overall: It's decent for the price but if you can, you can find a 40GB HDD for your Xbox 360 slim for only a few dollars more.

This was a necessary part for the gaming experience on the 360. Some games can't be played unless you have a hard drive. I went with this one for economical reasons. On the average the 20gb hd goes for about $45 used and $89.99 brand new. I got this one brand new for $47 + shipping. Real good deal. Has some demos and trial versions and one full version of a game already on it. My quirk is I can't account for close to 5gb of the storage space. When installed in the system it reads that there is 10.5 gb free space. It also tells me what demos and such are using what amount of memory. That's an approximate total of 5gb. Where's the other 4.5gb? This seems to happen with any memory device I've ever owned. Missing memory! Where did it go? Overall, I am happy with it especially for the price.
Purchased used on eBay to test a recently repaired RROD XBOX 360. If you are new to this console than here are a few pointers. Get this instead of a memory card, the only benefit of cards is portability. Don't bother if you want to copy your XBOX games to the hard drive. Most games are a huge 6.8GB of data so you can maybe get 2 games to fit on the on the drive because of the system software. For parents with who are buying for their kids the smart buy maybe the 60GB XBOX live bundle, which includes a headset and a $19.99 Live! card. With an average price of $89.99 less the card and headset, you are essentially getting the drive for $54.98. That's the best price per GB ratio. Still way over priced essentially double price for a laptop drive, buy if you want to play you have to pay! Check around for new products as there maybe new product when you are reading this. You have to have an hard drive but probably not this one.Read full review
Being a gamer, and seeing new games and such appearing out of the blue and more and more games needing extra stuff to make it look cool. But for the rest of us core games who don't need the extra hoopla in our video games for X-Box 360, there is an alternate. The original X-Box HDD b.k.a. the X-Box 360 20GB HDD is what non-core, easy going and casual gamers need. Just enough space for all of your saves, enough space for the new X-Box Experience and more. If you're looking for the Bigger Better Deal, try a 120GB or a 160GB HDD, but if you're not into the additional stuff added into it, or just want to play the game, then the 20GB is up your alley.
This is a great product. It works great with my Xbox360. I am very happy with this purchase. I bought it on buy it now for not really that much, and it was great because then I did not have to deal with bidding on the item. I decided to buy it for my Xbox360 because I figured out that with the Xbox360 upgrade from Xbox Live, I can download games right to my hard drive. Now I can borrow games that I do not have from my friends, download it to my hard drive, and give it back to my friend. I will not have to buy any more games as long as my friends have them. My hard drive that came with my Xbox360 only had 20GB on it so I could only fit a couple games because every game takes up about 6GB of space. There are hard drives on ebay that do not have as many GB but are sold for more. That was a great find that I made. If you purchase this item then that would be one of the smartest ideas that you would have all day. Xbox360 is my favorite game system so I figured that I might as well spent money on that rather than my ps2 or my game cube. The Xbox360 is an amazing system so if you do not have one then I am very sorry for you. You are missing out on the ultimate gaming experience. If you are reading this review then you probably already have the Xbox360 and are just getting another accessory for your Xbox360 console so this is probably just a waste of time writing this. If you actually read this whole thing then I would clap for you. I could never sit down and read a review this long. I would probably just read another review that is half as long. Well thanks for reading if you actually did read this.Read full review
The Microsoft Xbox 360 20gb Hard Disk Drives are actually really good. In all the Xbox 360's I have fixed I have always switched out the Hard Drives with no problem at all. It's the console itself that is so screwed up. I would also highly advise buying the 20gb Microsoft Xbox 360 Hard Drive for the cheapest upgrade possible. There are a few guides around the internet that will show you how to upgrade the 20gb to 120gb manually, using the old 20gb case. Saving you $$! These HDD's have always been a good product. Just make sure you have a warranty for the console. My latest Xbox 360 return lasted only 18 days and 3 Red Rings Of Death. New Jasper Chip and they are still RROD. Stay confident in your Hard Disk Drive but cross your fingers when you get the console.
The 20 gig hard drive is plenty of memory for any typical gamer. People who complain about insuffecient disk space generally are 1 of 2 types. The first is the person who loads their music/movie library to their xbox hard drive. This is not neccessary since the xbox-360 is capable of reading data off of external hdd's to fat-32. If you format an external Hdd to fat-32 you can simply run your media off that hard drive and leave the xbox's hard drive available for game saves. And let's face it, the $100 that it costs to get a 120 gig MS HDDD is a scam when you could pay $30 for the 20 gig, and $80 for a terabyte HDD.
Depending on what you buy with XBOX Live points, the 20GB hard drive can do all that you need it to for the most part. I only put my game saves and basic game upgrades on it, so it works fine. For those who love to download TONS of movies and other media, you might need to get a larger hard drive. But for those who just want the "extra maps" or "extra content" and keep things that aren't video games off the XBOX, this is the drive for you!
I love the fact that I got the hard drive and the calbles used for a great price. The down side to this is that if they malfunction I cannot take them back to the establishment of purchace. Having a hard drive for a 360 is awesome. Especially a used one from a gammer because they tend to come with all kinds of goodies already stored on them and you don't have to pay retail price for one. If you don't have HD cables for the system I recomend buying a pair, they are all over Ebay, because palying a game with a higher pisel setting is great.
