I wasn't expecting the guitar to be this good considering the price. The product looks exactly like the photos on the listing. Normally when I buy a guitar at this price point it needs work (sharp fret ends, un-level frets, bad pickups, nut too high needs a setup). However on this I haven't found any of that other than maybe the nut needs some filing down. The finish is immaculate. The frets are smooth like it's already had a setup (found on much more expensive guitars). The fret markers look lovely like a cross between the Gibson split markers with a much more expensive looking abalone in-between. The shape is very much like an SG with a glued in neck (unlike some cheapies who have screw in necks to cut costs). The heel to body joint is more traditional joining at the 19th instead of the 21st fret (like on the 61 type), so the upper frets don't have as easy access as a 61. The pickups aren't great, yet not horrible. I already had plans to put black uncovered pickups in this. Comes with a full batwing pickguard so if you wanted, you could swap it out with a P90 guard and change the pickups to P90s. The only thing I'm not too crazy on is the headstock. It looks wider and more stumpy than a traditional G style, but maybe thats an optical illusion? I'd also prefer the more "traditional" black face instead of the white. Overall, I'm very impressed with this and great value for the money. Great base as a project guitar for modifying. I'd also recommend it for beginners as it's pretty much set up ready to play out of the box (unlike many others at this price point)Read full review

I was really surprised when I opened the package. The guitar was wrapped in multiple layers designed to protect it from weather temperature extremes. Including an aluminum mylar layer. I tuned the guitar quickly and it played like a dream. Intonation was right on. The paint job was very very good. Action was low and easy to play. I found the inlays to be cool, although my color preference, but very precise and good looking. I bought the guitar for slide playing. I changed the pickups out with Gibson pickups but really didn't notice any great difference. I had to modify a Gibson SG pickguard to make it fit but it was minor. For the money, you can't beat this guitar. Actually played as well as by real SG and sounded great. Weight is perfect, no neck sag and not at all cheap looking or feeling. A+++++Read full review

I wanted an affordable SG style guitar. What a surprise this one was. Beautiful finish and construction. After minimal setup it plays like a dream and the sound of it's humbuckers is snappy and bright, not 'muddy' like so many humbucker cheap guitars. Can't recommend it higher. I've played Gibsons that aren't better.

Very nice SG styled guitar, great sounding pickups and just a joy to play. I'm very pleased with this Haze guitar and I'll definitely be looking into their other styles of axes. I highly recommend.
