This neck is all 59 all the time. I love it. Bolted it onto my strat and strung it up. Played for a few hours right out the gate. Great feel, nice radius and excellent frets make it play like butter. The nut is quite good as well, properly spaced and filed to correct depth for strings. Mesnt s breeze to setup ( only put a shim in the neck pocket - typical setup, then adjusted intonation and string height). This neck is GREAT!!! Ive applied lemon oil to the fret board and it absorbed the oil didnt have to reapply so it was not excessivlely dry. Wood was properly cured in the build process. Overall its a superb replacement.

Well let me start by saying that this has become one of my favorite guitars to play. It was not however ready when it arrived. The setup was horrible and the tuning machines were improperly installed. The staggered height of standard American machines is important and this was shipped with the short and tall all mixed up as if no one even realized that it mattered. After properly reinstalling the machines we went about setting string height, truss rod and then setting intonation and at that point the guitar was great. The relic job was ok but will never fool anyone. I love the neck feel with the finish sanded off but it is not at all like it would be if it were worn naturally. If you want a beat up Strat that is fun to play and from a distance looks like an old friend this is a great choice. If you want a guitar that looks like the real deal from years of playing this would not be for you. There is a reason that good relic jobs cost so much, if done properly it takes a lot of man hours and thought, All in all I give it a 5 out of 10 but once again as always you get what you pay for. I have been in the market for a great guitar, and I have wanted a Fender Stratocaster for a longer time, but,a fine, top of the heap Fender can be a very expensive proposition, such as the "custom shop guitars. The Stratocaster I purchased from an e-bay merchant was as good as it gets for "a lot less money", and this 1954 "reissue" Stratocaster is more than just "OK",this guitar, is a real quality guitar..in fact it's even better than I expected, it is a keeper. A bargain by any standard, playability, quality built, beautiful "Strat"tone,a stunning beautiful finish..it's a 1954 Stratocaster for many thousands of dollars less. I would have to say this guitar is really worth at least 3 times what I paid for it. What I'm saying is if you're looking for a "Great" guitar buy this classic beauty, you will be proud of yourself for your brilliant purchase of this Fender! I will likely buy another guitar from e-bay and this merchant I bought from, a true "Win,Win",Win"!!Read full review
The guitar is super fun to play. Cosmetically, it looks great. A few dings here and there but nothing surprising as they were all shown in the original post. After a quick set-up, it plays great. However, my biggest issue is that there are 3 pretty deep lines (fret-ware) in the 12th fret that pretty much makes it impossible to bend the 1st-3rd strings without completely losing the tone and sustain. It also causes some rattling when played. At first I thought it was the action, but I saw the wear on accident. It is more annoying then anything, and needs to be replaced which will be some additional cost. I just wish this was mentioned in the post because it does affect the playability. Shipping and everything else was fine.

Here's my testimony , these strats are my go to guitar I absolutely love them, and own 2 looking for a third. But there is one thing I noticed about fender standard strats there necks are consistent. Most of the times I buy a strat the neck feels different I got lucky with my 2013 9.5 neck radius feels amazing nice slim to it. Now I bought my share of strats always the American standard, and I have gotten some where the 9.5 neck felt like a baseball bat! They still feel good, I just think fender needs to work on the necks better. Overall great tone , playability, and looks awesome especially in Olympic white . Definitely no way you can lose buying a fender Stratocaster.

The owner I believe was acting in good faith; But unaware that the body had what is being referred to as 'Lining'. Imperfections in the body and paint that produce an uneven finish. The results are parallel lines running up and down the body where the wood is glued togeather. This phenomenon is the topic of many a 'strat forum',and guitar shop conversation. Opinions as to its cause abound; Cost cutting steps eliminated, the use of Polyurethane etc.. Unfortunately for Fender this a serious problem. It destroys the looks, and value, of the guitar.Viewed at the right angle the guitar body highlights these lines to a very distressing point. Totally unacceptable, and a real heart- breaker for Fender lovers; And owners. I have to say, I would be amazed if Fender did not replace these Bad Guitars, at least to the original owners. It happens after the guitars 'age' alittle. Therefore Fender, I do not believe is aware of the problem ('s) when they release them for sale. Give me liquor (or Nitro) or give me death? This guitar is a beauty. The bound neck is really beautiful with the light blue body. The neck is not lacquered, which is just what a lot of guitar players want, including me. The non lacquered neck does not stick in your hand. The stock pickups are kind of without character. So I replaced them with some Texas Specials which gives the guitar lots of what was missing.

I have always wanted a Fender Stratocaster that was also collectible. This color is rare. The Stratocaster is like any other American Strat, easy to play with great sound and feel. I love it.

The 1995 Strat is one of the BEST Fender instruments I have ever owned. I immediately did some personal upgrades to the guitar the first week I had it and I shared them via e-mailed pictures with the seller. A win win as the seller got exactly what he listed the guitar for and the fair price allowed me to do the upgrades. I couldn't be happier.
