NotesIn the wake of a horrific car crash, Beck rebounded with "Rough and Ready" ('71) and the Steve Cropper-produced "Jeff Beck Group" ('72). On those two LPs, he fused rock with jazz and soul; he took the approach yet further on his 1975 George-Martin produced masterpiece "Blow by Blow," a #4 LP in the U.S. (his biggest hit). This set also includes his 1976 fusion gem "Wired" (with Jan Hammer and Narada Michael Walden) and 1977's "With the Jan Hammer Group Live." Includes "Jody," "I've Been Used," "Ice Cream Cakes," "Going Down," "You Know What I Mean," "Freeway Jam," "Led Boots," "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat," live versions of "Scatterbrain," "She's a Woman" and more '70s Beck brilliance!
