There are limited "cook programmes" and it has no directly accessible library of different meats with the associated temperature for the different cooking levels e.g. rare versus well-done. So, if you simply want to monitor the temperature for a medium steak who HAVE to use the tedious "cook programme" to do this siimple task. To avoid this, you either need to memorise these tempretaures after looking them upon the internet or take the closest "cook programme". It also takes ages to load up the progammes because they include videos. Pity, bacuse it is a good piece of hardware.
