'On the ground' at Jesus' death and resurrection
This movie is a well acted, well made take on what it might have been like to be a Roman soldier 'on the ground' in Jerusalem when Jesus died and then reports of his resurrection begain to spread. The acting is fantastic, the characters feel very genuine, and the revelatory scenes are gentle and understated despite being earth shattering in their implications. Love it, could watch again and again.

One of the BEST movies about the Lord Jesus. Hollywood takes its usual licence, in changing the story somewhat - but I LOVE Him, and any movie that glorifies Him so powerfully. It gave me goosebumps the first time I watched it!
