Far better than I expected.
I’ll admit I was skeptical. I read mixed reviews on this reel and decided to take a chance. I’m glad I did. I’ve thrown all different brands if baitcasters but this one , hands down , casts farther with fewer backlashes than any reel over ever used. Adjust the brakes and spool Knob properly and it will cast a country mile. It’s super smooth . Is it the best reel I’ve ever had? No. That will always belong to shimano. Impressive
Not an avid user of bait cast reels. Spooled this up with 10# copolymer put it on a used 6ft rod and set up with a practice plug. Once the reel was set up correctly it was launch city. Casts amazingly easy and almost no backlash unless i mess up the cast. Great reel. Great reel - one weakness
This model works great. The only problem I have had is the the thumb release lever broke and I cannot find a replacement. In fact If I could find replacement thumb release levers I would get 3 or 4 since this one broke just using it. Overall I love using these reels.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
