Replaced the oe speakers in my 2002 silverado
These fit great in my doors without using adapters with the included mounting hardware. I also had a pair of speaker wire adapters to make my installation plug and play but even if I didnt they came with pre terminated wire. The difference in clarity, volume, and bass is incredible when comparing them with the 18 year old factory speakers. They're not subwoofers but they do put out enough bass for door speakers in my opinion. I am powering these with a 2 din kenwood head unit and i am able to turn the volume up to 25-27 depending on the song before they start to distort. Decent sound.
These work fine for factory replacement speakers. Sounds is decent but, will NOT wow you if you’re looking to upgrade your system. I went with them for the name, thinking they’d sound better that factory. My stock Tahoe speakers had a deeper sound , though they were not as crisp as these. Don't hesitate to give them a go, great speaker for the money.
First off the average price of these speakers is very attractive. The sound is very good, incidentally they carry the majority of provided base over their 6X9 brothers. I'm feeding 60 clean Alpine RMS watts into them and went about a year and a half before popping the woofer on one. I like them and the price so much I simply ordered a 4 pack and now have plenty of spare speakers for the next time one gives up the ghost. I drive them hard and they handle it admirably. Nice, inexpensive upgrade

Insane loud speakers

I am following up my review and giving a new star rating of 5. The old review can be seen below. The reason I originally gave these speakers a good but not stellar rating at the time was because the passenger side which I installed the speaker was crackling at a low volume. I seriously thought I just got a bad speaker of the pair but it didn't sound like it was actually blown out either. The driver side that was installed sounded just fine. Never having had this problem before and a bit slighted I decided to research then issue. I didn't realize this but some speakers require a "warm up" or "break in" period. I kept the volumes low and advised my fiance now to turn them up just yet. After about a week I turned the volume up to when it would crackle last time and the crackle was gone! I turned them up then to the volume I'd comfortably listen to my music and they sounded clean! So for anyone who may have a speaker crackled at low volumes but doesn't sound like it blew (muffled) then just give it a break in period by not overloading the speaker to the point that it crackles for awhile to allow everything to loosen up. At this point I would recommend this brand and these speakers if you have a vehicle that needs 6.5" speakers. OLD Review (Apr 03, 2018): Bought these and installed in a 2001 blazer. They sounded amazing until yesterday. Turned on the radio and the right speaker now crackles (not completely blown though) while the left one sounds perfectly fine. I don't know what to think of this brand as I've never used them before but if this is how their quality control is then I'm looking at other better trusted brands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing sound twice as loud as stock
I replaced factory speakers in a 2003 Grand Cherokee and WOW. with no Amp and only a boss head unit they sound awesome. Bass carries through to high volume and the highs and mods are crystal clear. Very impressed with what you get for your money and this is a great way to buy if you have a combo of 6.5 and 6x9s to replace. Crystal clear sound
As other reviewer had mentioned the sound quality is awesome. It's equal or even better than more expensive speakers, clean clean, mids hi and lows it really distinguished..I didn't t expect it for that price....and sounds like 3 way crystal clear....just remember for deep base you have to have sub woofer in every car and every system, even more expensive 3 ways still needs sub woofer....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
