Compelling author
I have recently discovered this author and I love his stories. Iron Lake is the first in a series featuring ex sheriff, Cork O'Connor. I also recommend his latest stand alone novel, This Tender Land. Great read.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good and interesting story with believable characters

Cork O'Connor is a good crime mystery set in Minnesota
Good thriller/mystery novel with a little philosophy thrown in. But what drove me to read this book was his book Ordinary Grace.
