Portable sound, bass boost, with long battery life
True to the Sony brand the SRSXB40 has great sound for the price. I bet you could spend three times as much before you would find a better sound.I had bought three of them that were marked and sold as a "second", but aside from some minor damage to the retail box (shop soiled & scratched) the items within were pristine and undamaged. The Extra Bass does sound a bit boomy on some extra-heavy bass tracks, but it can be managed by turning off the XB setting, or tweaking the equalizer settings on your tracks.
