Needed this adaptor to convert the Toyota antenna connector to after market unit. Comes with power wire for the antenna amplifier and antenna plug. Uses only one of the Toyota antennas. Reception is as good as original radio.

My Toyota had both adaptors on it already so I thought I would not need it. However I was wrong. Until I got this adaptor the reception was unusable outside of major centres. I thought it was the new radio so I returned it and got another which had the same problem. Then I bought this adaptor and the reception is perfect as per the original radio.
