Excellent for my camera
This may seem to be somewhat expensive for a battery but it is worth the initial outlay. Once fully charged it can be used to take many many photos before it requires recharging - this long life is a boon when on a photo-heavy expedition. It is solidly built though it isn't meant to be roughly treated - the contacts of the the battery need to be protected if you wish to have a functioning battery. It is more powerful than its predecessor - the Nikon EN-EL 14 battery and is intended for use in newer models of Nikon cameras.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works!
I got this as a back-up battery and haven't used it long enough to know it's performance, but the early signs are good. When I first got my D3400 I purchased a generic back-up and the camera rejected it (it seems Nikon puts some smarts in the batteries). Well priced Genuine Nikon battery
These batteries give a far better power longevity, compared to the smaller powered batteries. Well worth the cost. I operated on 2 batteries with a dual battery cartridge on my camera, operating a 600mm lens, for 3 days without having to change batteries. Do i recommend these batteries?
