Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Network Hubs
I've had a Procurve 24 port switch for years now which operated flawlessly for my home network. Upgraded to 48 port with same results. With the price of these coming down so drastically after enterprise networks are going 10G and high speed fiber there's no reason to waste money on crappy "pro-sumer" products from the usual brands. If you have the ability to do some basic setup via command line and get the manual free from an online search you will not be disappointed. HP has all the information for these available to the public unlike some other manufacturers.

Anybody looking at HP Procurve networking equipment knows their long reputation for solid performance. Combine that with a lifetime warranty and purchasing one of these switches is likely the last money you will need to spend on switching, at least until 10gb begins more affordable.
It does everything you need to, as long as you know what you're doing. It is however louder than expected but changing the fans was simple enough.

Hard to beat a lifetime warranty from HP on these switches. 44 Gigabit ports plus 4 GigE or SFP/GBIC ports. Love this gear! Relatively quiet.
