Only use original , this is original

When it comes to sensors on the 7.3 use only original motorcraft ,trust me.. This part is genuine. I tried to save money on a non genuine, mistake! The nut wasnt even the same size as original.. didnt even bother installing it! Do it right the 1st time!

  • Top critical review

Mine was junk right out of the box.

I was installing a new hpop an figured I would replace my irp valve as good maintenance. After installing pump an irp valve in the truck. The truck would surge an stall periodically. After truck got warm. It would start then stall. It was so bad it wouldn't even make a test drive. I had to wait to Diag it till the next day because my scanner was at work. Plugged scanner in an noticed my icp sense pressure reading where all over the place an low. Then checked the irp valve duty cycle an was up an down around 50 percent an 65 percent when hot when it stalled. 65 percent duty cycle is wide open but icp would ready around 540 right before it stalled letting me know the irp had failed in the Huey system. I reinstalled old ipr so the truck would run an drive. Let's hope they do the right thing an refund me my part an at least 3hrs labor for Diagnosing there bad part an parts replace after there part failure

  • Chinese knock off, its a 30 dollar IPR valve that the ford ipr removal tool doesn't even work on .

This is a knock off valve. It is not a genuine ford part. It is not even the same size that the ford IPR removal tool fits. This IPR valve is a inch and a 1/16 a original ford part is an 1 and an 1/8. Threads were damaged right out of the packaging. This is exactly the same part as the Chinese knock off 39 dollar IPR. Don't waste your time or money on this.

  • Not OEM Ford part. Knock off. Misspelled words on package. Giveaway

Product promised was a Ford factory part. Part received was not a ford factory part in a package that looked like a Ford factory part. Words were not written properly and others misspelled. Also, part was a different wrench size than factory and threads on solenoid nut were fine thread, not course like the factory part.

  • Don't be fooled by the "Motorcraft" bag. It wasn't sealed.

Don't be fooled by the "Motorcraft" bag. It wasn't sealed. On first inspection it was of lower quality than the OEM part. It's also dimensionally different from the original. I installed the part and the truck refused to run. It would buck, sputter and die after 3 seconds. I bought this IPR for a HPOP rebuild. After the truck failed to run, I re-installed the original and it came right back to life.

  • Buy OEM

I bought this to repair the hard start problem I was having with my 2000 7.3. I only use OEM sensors and electrical parts. I have used aftermarket sensors in the past and they do not last. U get what u pay for. I also replaced the ICP at the same time as the IPR.

  • ipr install

20 min. install used 1 1/8 deep socket had to put a 1/4 washer in the socket and it worked great no need to remove fuel bowl etc. I did unplug maybe 3 plugs on top to get the wires out of the way

  • 7.3 runs again

If your 7.3 dies after just 10-20 minutes of driving this could be your fix. As the oil heats up it thins and worn seals can’t hold the needed pressure. This valve is OEM and refreshes that system. Truck runs great again.

  • Great product and great price!

Works great. Shipping was fast. Very Pleased with product. I recommend motorcraft brand over aftermarket. Can’t go wrong for only an extra $40. You get what you pay for.
