Worse, the feelings that explode every time they meet are disturbing her peace of mind. But as Kari desperately searches for the truth about her husband's death, the man who destroyed his reputation -- the one she should really hate -- is awakening a passion that she has never known., Television newscaster Kari Wynne blamed her shattered life on one man--D.A. Hunter McKee. He hadn't directly caused her husband's death, but he had destroyed his reputation. Still, the desire that exploded every time they met was almost overwhelming. Now, Kari will begin a desperate search for the truth about her husband's mysterious death, and about the man she wants to hate who somehow awakens within her the kind of passion she has never known before.
Good story about a DA and a lady whose husband was accused of emblezing funds. Her husband was dead , killed in a hit and run accident. The DA felt quilty for accusing her husband and hurting the wife but it was his job. He reported it as he had evidence to do so. Highly recommended book.
