All GM Parts -- Everything Needed To Do A Transmission Fluid Change
All GM approved parts for changing the fluid/filter in your 6L80 automatic transmission. This kit doesn't change ALL the fluid -- only the fluid you can get to in a typical DIY home garage scenario. GM typically recommends this service be done at 45,000 mile intervals for the continued good health of your 6-speed automatic. FYI -- I priced this transmission maintenance service at a local Chevrolet Dealer and it was going to be $540 parts and labor for a complete flush. I can buy 3 of these kits for that kind of money. Pan bolts are 10mm -- use the new gasket to ensure no leaks when you are finished. Before starting this job, learn how to use the level control plug. If you have the equipment, an easy way to get the new fluid into the pan is by pumping it up through the level control standpipe. Good to know on vehicles where the actual side filler plug is difficult to access.

Use OEM gasket or it will leak
I put in another brand gasket but it leaked so I had to flush the tranny all over again, and put this one in. now it’s fine.
