Bought this MA785GM-US2H microATX in order to use all the guts of my old gaming rig to make an HTPC. This one is the little brother of the Gigabyte MA790x-UD5P ATX that was in the original build. This little guy works great, and has a great set of features for such a tiny board. The only negative I could give is the positioning of the SATA ports. If you intend on putting a full size video card in your case, the power cords end up right over them, making it almost impossible to access while the video card is installed. Then again, it is a microATX, and you knew it wouldn't all be fun and games, didn't you.
I bought this motherboard as a replacement for an ASUS M3A78-EM AM2/AM2+ motherboard that failed in my sister's computer four months earlier. This board had all the necessary features that the ASUS motherboard had and then some. What I like most about it is the fact that I was able to properly implement AHCI in order for her to use her eSATA external hard drive enclosure to back up and restore files from her main hard drive. With the exception of the fact that the onboard video chip is not automatically disabled when you install a discrete PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card, I dislike nothing about this motherboard. If I needed to do so, I would definitely buy this motherboard again as it is definitely a winner!!!
This mobo far exceeds the one it was replacing. The seller had this in pristine condition, very easy installation, and its value far exceeded what I expected. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to purchase it.

Not much to say. It looks and works brand new. Update the BIOS and you are good to go.

Rock Solid Board. Used one to replace the board in an HP Elite desktop that I had already replaced with an identical HP board once before with poor results. Now I get to keep using my Phenom and 8GB RAM that I already had. Installed this with a new 680W PS and it runs consistent as gravity. Would definitely recommend, but wouldn't pay over $100 for it due to age of technology (as of 06-2012).
works great fairly quick. Haven't used it much yet but do far so good

This is the best MB for the money that one can purchase. Obsolescent but fast, works great with Win 7, and easy to re-set CMOS, etc. I highly recommend this MB for everyday use.
The MB is excellent. A well thought out manual with explicit instructions. I di have to reinstall Win XP Prof. SP3. I tried a pulled HD that already had XP on it but the system hung after attempting to load OS. The fresh install of XP did the trick and the unit ran beautifully from that point on. I recommend it for light to medium gaming and all around general applications.
I bought this motherboard to replace an identical one that failed. The replacement works AOK.
