Ive owned Morley wahs in the past. This is a good wah although it does color tone a bit much, thats what wahs do. I hate the boost. It seems useless so I keep it off. The volume side works great but, there is a learning curve to the sweep if your coming from a crybaby wah. Does not seem to kick in until you push forward a bit but it has a great sweet spot on the wah. I also like and prefer having the switch at the side so I do not have to toe down on the wah to activate and then quickly back off. I can activate it at any part of the sweep I want, great!. Morley rules, get one.

I bought this unit as I wanted to combine a wah and volume pedal in the same unit so Morley have come up with the goods, however, I do have some thoughts... Put the switch UNDER the front of the foot pedal, just like it has been on wah wah's since the dawn of time. Having it to one side is just pointless as you need to remove your foot from the pedal to engage/disengage it. Also, install a "tuner out" jack so a guitar tuner can be run from the pedal. I realize that this unit is very small in size which may limit these features being included but if that's the case, just make the thing the normal size and be done with it.
The Morley Mini Wah Volume Pedal is a great versatile unit with the ability to be used as a volume or wah pedal. I like the small size as it fits snugly on my pedal board. It also has a convenient level control knob on top for easy access. Runs on 9V so I can power off my daisy chain. The unit is very good value also. Get yours today.
I have had many wahs over the years, including an original chrome Morley, and then a string of Cry Babys. I came back to Morley recently and regained that great musical nasaly tone that I had to hear. I also prefer the sweep range of the Morleys over others that I have tried.

Morley's claim that optical is better is not true. You get about one third of the stomp radius actually affecting the tone on the wah, and the volume is more of an on/off switch. Good concept, though!

Execellent pedal! NO problems with the pedal as yet, no pots to wear out, has more more features than the regular wah pedal, and think it has a better tone than the regular wah pedal also, but that's my opinion. Heavy duty construction, the pedal seems a little heavy at first but i added a drop of oil to the hinge of the pedal and worked it in and it seems alot better now, probably just got used to it. TRY IT you'll like it!
THEY DO NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THE .. Morley PWOV Vintage Wah and Optical Volume Pedal
