About this product

Product Information

You’ll gather precise information about the location of fish with the Lowrance X135 Fishfinder. This single-frequency model has a 200 kHz transducer that can operate at up to 70 mph, or 61 knots. The transmitter packs in 4,000 watts peak to peak with 500 watts for root mean square of waveform value. With an X135 on your boat, you can track fish down to a maximum depth of 1,000 feet. The Lowrance sensor has a 20-degree cone angle. The device will provide precision underwater views while you pursue fish. It has auto bottom tracking and auto ranging as well as bottom zoom and split-screen zoom capabilities. This Lowrance finder also provides you with a reading of surface water temperature. The 16-level grayscale monochrome display creates excellent details. The 480x480 pixel resolution of the fishfinder screen further supports viewing clarity. You’ll be able to determine sizes of separate targets. This display can be viewed in direct sunlight or in darker conditions with a white LED backlight. The sonar screen unit measures 5.43 inches tall by 6.85 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep. It can be mounted on a dash with the included bracket. In-dash mounting is possible with an extra adapter kit. To use the X135 as a portable finder, you can add a portable power pack accessory to your collection. Out of the box, the finder will have factory default settings. Through the Main, Sonar, or Pages menus, you can access controls to tailor the unit to your fishing experience. Push the buttons to open option lists and then use the Up and Down arrows to make selections. On the Main menu, you can adjust brightness and contrast, sounds, sonar alarms, or access help instructions. In the Sonar menu, you can change depth, sensitivity, fish ID, frequency, and color. The grayline feature can be used to differentiate fish from bottom features. Other options include changing the ping speed and freezing on a position. The commands on the Pages section give you control of screen options. You can choose from viewing the full chart, split chart, split frequency, and digital data. During use, the fishfinder will alert you to activity with alarms for shallow depths and fish. Contour data of favorite fishing spots can be saved in the finder’s built-in memory. The finder supports use in 10 languages. The Lowrance X135 Fishfinder uses input power of 10 to 15 volts of direct current. You can meet its requirements with a 12-volt battery system. Best results come from attaching the power cable directly to the battery. When installing the transducer, point the face straight down if possible. The unit can be placed directly on the transom. You can use a 1-inch drill bit to make the connection hole and seal it with a high-grade marine caulk. On a boat with a fiberglass hull, you can mount the X135 inside the ship. To finish installation, you’ll want to use 100-grit sandpaper and durable epoxy adhesive. The X135 Fishfinder from Lowrance has waterproof construction and can be used in freshwater or saltwater.

  • Best B&W Legacy Lowrance Fishfinder Built!

I have owned several of this model sonar/fishfinder on different boats. Sonar has become so technical and gadgetry-driven, most people have never had the time to spend with someone who knows how to read and interpret these 2D units. The level of detail is outstanding. The amount of power is unrivaled, especially for a non-color unit. Transducers do not cost an arm and a leg. BUT!!!!!Now everyone MUST have downscan, sidescan, up your backside scan, yadayadayada! If you find a good clean used on or a closet queen like I did, snap it up; if you're a real fisherman, you will appreciate what one of these units can do for you.

  • Great low cost Sounder !!!

Even though this model is dated , the functions and screen are clear and easy to use . Installation was very easy and this item comes with 3 different light settings with the added bonus of pop up screens to inform the user what the screen they are looking at will do . Truly a great sounder , for the price .
