I used this filter on my 2008 Suzuki DL650 for the 'external filter mod'. It is nicely sized for motorcycle use, and with real screw type hose clamps, not the spring ones included, will easily hold up to 50psi of typical fuel injected motorcycles. This filter allows me to change a $5 filter instead of the whole $500 suzuki fuel pump/filter/fuel level assembly. It also has quite a bit more filtration area, which will take more to clog up and affect bike performance at high RPMs. At the cost of this vs. the suzuki assembly, it is cheap and easy enough to just change every year preventatively.

I recently purchased several of these for my 77 Ford truck. It's worth every penny and is just about the only company still making them in the good old USA. Get good screw clamps to go with it though as it does come with spring clamps, but didn't do the trick for me. The filter is cheap and does what it's supposed to, what more could you ask for?
