Not what I was expecting.
The picture looked like what I had in my Kenmore Elite Series 80 but what I received was totally different looking. The original piece where the bolt goes through is at least 1" longer and built from a stronger material then what was in the package. That being said, the only useable parts from the package were the clutch dogs. Please give a better description in the future of actual measurements for each part in these kits. Agitator rebuild kit 285811
I needed to rebuild my agitator. The top part was too wobbly. The kit had the exact parts that I needed. The kit also included a plate that slides over the cam and holds the dog ears in place. I don’t like products like that but you can not do anything because it says in the agreement that they my be different than picture but in my cast the picture was the exact part that was on my machine. Great Item And Easy To Install.
Removed top cap then using a string removed the dirt cap thats sealed by an O ring.Don’t be afraid to spray a small amount of PB Blaster on the O ring.You can get you hand down to the cap and pull up with a finger if your strong enough.Used a 12” long 1/4 inch extension and 10mm socket to remove the bolt.The rest Is very easy.It just remove and replace with the new parts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
