Set fourteen of the popular MIDSOMER MURDERS mystery series from Great Britain comes to DVD in this release from the Acorn Media label - with four episodes of approximately 100 minutes each. This particular volume includes "Death and Dust," "Picture of innocence," "They Seek Him Here," and "Death in a Chocolate Box." This volume presents the said program in 16:9 widescreen with a stereo soundtrack, and subtitles for the hearing impaired. As an added bonus, it also includes a biography of Caroline Graham, whose mystery novels inspired the series.

    I don't watch regular TV . Shows like this are entertaining, well acted and less violent as some of the ones on cable TV. Maybe I'm of fashioned but I think it is fun to try to figure out "who done it".

    Reruns of prior episodes that one already has.

    This is a rerun series of past episodes that have already been out in earlier series that I already had. To even call this a new series for another year is a fraud. I didn't know that when I bought it and set 15 which is the same kind of thing. Had I know it I would never have purchased Set 14. Anyone who has set 1 thru 13 should forget about buying any of the suceeding sets.

    MIDSOMMER MADNESS

    We began watching these mysteries even though we are usually not English video buffs. We are now hooked and have watched about half of the series. This group is from the late 2000's and is as good as any. Try a few and I am sure you will be as convinced as we are.
