The rebuild kit was great, but the fact that it was necessary after one year, is disappointing
The rebuild kit makes the cleaner work better. An improvement over the component(s) that came with the original unit. However, it begs the question why the original unit wasn't as outstanding in the first place. We needed to replace the large part after one full year's use (the calendar year made the replacement outside the warranty period). Didn’t help...
Pump is fine, t hid s b B is 2nd rebuild kit for us... 1st worked ok for two seasons... this rebuild kit feels like needs rebuilding...be careful to save all packaging in case you need to return... you may just need new hose or time to junk the Polaris and go with something better. Just Like New Again
I can't tell you how many times we've taken the Polaris 3900 Sport into the "shop". It's always one thing or another, never the same thing twice, of course. This Rebuild Kit has made my Polaris run like new again and at 1/2 the price it would have cost at out local Pool Supply store. Well worth the price. Waterway Pool Cleaner Boost Pump
I purchased this pump to replace the original Polaris boost pump. The pump was a direct replacement with just minor PVC pipe changes to line up as the Polaris water intake was directly in the middle of the pump head rather than offset like this pump. The pump came with a 110/220 volt switch so wiring was easy. The pump is quiet and so far is working as designed. Seems like a good value for the money. Makes Quick Work of a Dirty Pool
Drastic improvement over our old cleaner. The old one just had a leaf catcher while this one catches leaves and alsomuch finer material preventing this debris from reaching the filter cartridges. My only complaint is with removing the debris. The sock wraps around the hose with Velcro strips to keep it in place... there are two zippered pouches on either side. Improves performance

Provided New Life to My Dead Polaris 380 Sport
I've rebuilt my Polaris 380 Sport twice with this Drive kit. I also replaced the water management assembly this time although I didn't the first. This kit comes with easy to follow instructions and is not difficult to remove the old one and install the new one. I would recommend this product to give new life to a tired and sluggish pool cleaner.
