This is a great little printer and is good for printing out photo's on the spot. Handles both 4X6 and 5X7 paper. If you are using Windows 10, use the HP Photosmart A820 driver and eject the virtual CD drive it creates each time the printer is powered up. Bluetooth printing is a little slow, but it works from my Android tablet well. Sure wish that HP had written a new set of drivers for this item and I would have given it a 5 Star rating.

This is the second one I have had of this model. I had many other models and prefer this because it does so much. The only problem and it could be me, sometimes it takes awhile to print photos from my phone that were on facebook by bluetooth. I have at times found that it will come up and say the pic. is corrupted. All you have to do is go in and edited pic, the color, size ect...and it will print. Took awhile to learn that little trick. But a great printer

I bought this printer thinking I could print pictures from my cell phone and found out I can’t. I’m disappointed but it is a nice printer and it prints beautiful pictures.

Great quality photos! I love it its compact I traveled this weekend and took it everywhere so easily. I haven't tried to print from anything except my SD card but it's super fast loading the card with 2000 pics on it and a cool scrolling technique that's easy to find your picture! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Great buy! Thanks so much and for the fast shipping!

Love it. I have had a photo port for years. When mine was giving me trouble - not consistently quality printing, I knew it was getting old and had a lot of use. When I tried to buy one from a retail store, I had difficulty finding one as I heard that HP was no longer making the small photo ports. So I went on line and found a supplier who refurbishes them and I ordered one. Can't be more pleased. It is like a brand new machine and has proven to be reliable, produces a quality picture and has many advanced features that I did not have on my previous printer. And the price was right!
I was looking to replace a first generation model of this photo printer with something more current, and didn't want to lose the compact form factor and I enjoyed with the old one. Unfortunately HP has discontinued these, and eBay is the only place I could find a reasonable priced more current version. I love it! The big touch screen is a huge plus, and there is a great improvement on the paper feed. Very easy to set up and use, and there is some built-in photo editing capability (albeit limited).
It is exactly what I hoped it would be. I was replacing the same product that I had enjoyed using for many years. My photo printer just got “tired” 😊

HP really outdid themselves with this printer. Not only is it cute and small, its stylish and made from recycled plastic. It also comes with a cute tote that is also make from recycled products. It is so light weight my purse is heaver than it. The setup of this printer is really easy No Cd!!! All you do is plug it in and choose your language and go! The only flaw that I have found is that the ink it comes with is only good for about 15 photos then when you go get another ink(hp 110 tricolor) avg price 24.00 it is only good for 50 photos but its just about the same with other printers so take it or leave it. I like this because I sometimes will be scrapbooking and realize that I need one certain photo and now with this printer I can print it out and not have a big huge bulky printer to do it.. All in all on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being amazing I would have to give this a 9 and only because of the ink. Hope this helps!!Read full review
I have had 2 of these printers and love the ease of them. I drove around the USA and I bought postcard backings from Ritz Camera. When I stopped for a night, I printed off a couple, attached them to the backings and sent them to my friends and relatives as I motored around. When I got home 6-1/2 weeks later, i made prints that I put in frames that do not have borders (composite of 10 pictures to a frame) and I put 9 of these border-less frames in my hallway entrance. When people come into the house, they admire the set up and the arrangement and the quality of the photos. I don't know the life span of these but I haven't seen them in Best Buy or any store since. I think they're discontinued so, I bought another photo printer about 3-4 years ago and have never used it as it's too difficult to learn. I even had an electronic guru try to figure it out and he finally did, but I haven't. By the way, I like the way this HP A646 also makes wallet size photos. My only complaint is that I still have both but have died on me. I am very careful of my property, including electronics so it wasn't misused.Read full review
