This is probably the BEST overdrive pedal on the market. It dials in to the sound I'm looking for super easy. Other OD's just don't have that same crunch like this one brings to the table. One quick note though, definitely get a power adapter. I was lucky to get 1 hour out of a single 9-volt battery. There is no point in this pedal even taking batteries, you can never make it through one show. But get an adapter its a quick fix and well worth it. I bought the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe to go on my pedalboard, for use with my acoustic guitar. This was such such am awesome addition to my arsenal that it lotetally replaced 2 other pedals and gave my sound the extra punch I needed. I've seen countless videos where this pedal is used brilliantly with an electric guitar. But I am living proof that acoustic can benefit from this sweetness, too. You need punch in your rhythm? Another Great Pedal From Wampler
The Deluxe keeps the original Tumnus sound and adds all kinds of versatility, from the 3-band EQ controls to the switchable buffered/true bypass button and 2-position gain switch. I was very happy with my original Tumnus, but this one's off the charts! If you like a smooth, creamy, low-to-medium- gain overdrive with great articulation, this is one of the absolute best around.
