Bought this to help bring an old HP xw8400 Workstation back to life while installing with Linux Mint. Getting graphics cards to work seems to be a snag with Linux according to what I've learned from help forums so figured I would let you know it does work on this workstation with Mint which is based upon Ubuntu

Great midrange card for HP xw4300
Love the card. It's the top end card for my xw4300 workstation and was a great upgrade for me even though its an older machine. I had trouble with the latest Nvidia driver which would crash while running the Windows Experience Index, but found that running with an older Nvidia driver fixed that problem and actually made it work better. Now its awesome. Huge improvement over what I had before.

Old tech that is perfect for an old Server.
The video card in my Dell Precision 690 was DOA. I bought two of these cards at a very reasonable price. They perform as well as can be expected for what they are. If you want to breathe life into an aging system, these cards are an amazing value. Just do expect to game!
