Small , light and compact
This battery suited my Hilux warranty concerns about weight ,being nice & light at 19kgs & small made it easy to fit in the second battery position. I was a bit worried with it being only 55AH but after running my fridge for 18 hrs the voltage only dropped from 12.8 to 12 without starting the vehicle , very happy as previous I used 105AH battery.

EVERY BOAT SHOULD HAVE ONE
The OPTIMA D34M is an amazing deep cycle battery. It's durable, dependable and has lots of reserve capacity for normal outboard starting - I wouldn't have anything less in my boat. To give you some idea how good these batteries are ... Many years ago, I found one dumped at the local tip. It wasn't damaged, so I took it home and tried charging it. It charged fine, so I fitted it to by boat (50HP Honda outboard) and it lasted TEN MORE YEARS before I replaced it with a new one. That was 4 years ago and the "new" one is still going strong. I only use my boat 10 times per year so the outboard takes some cranking to start sometimes (old fuel in the carbies). I have just one outboard and one battery on my boat. It's important, when I'm 10Km out to sea, to know that the outboard will start everytime, and the D34M is the best battery I've used. I told my brother about my D34M and this purchase is for him - his old boat battery died after nearly 3 years use and he too reckons the D34M will be good value in the long run.

optima marine blue top battery
Optima batteries are the best on the market. PERIOD. That is why I have 2 in my center cab - 1 in my bass boat - 2 in my cruiser &1 in my tractor all with no trouble at all. You can leave these all winter without starting & they still fire up no problems !!! cheers for a great product. Well worth recommending.

Battery fit for purpose
Costly battery but does the job. Have had a number of these batteries over time in my boat. Try to keep them charged using ctek charger. Well made items but life of battery could be better.

The previous optima was installed externally on a motorcycle and sidecar, I alternated between lots of use and just sitting. I did put the charger on every 3 months if not in use. It lasted 12 years
