Good Quality, Poor Assembly Instructions
Bar is nice and will hold 200lbs of weight. Assembly can be tricky. The only instructions are a tiny sheet with tiny pictures. There are two holes on the bar but only one pin. If you push the two ends of the bar all the way in (like you would think you need to), the holes don’t line up and it takes two people to pry the pieces back apart. Instructions should be more clear, and it requires paying a lot of attention to assemble this correctly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pin slots don’t align
Seems like sturdy medal but comes in two piece set and connect by a pin that goes through 2 holes where the bars attach. The holes did not line up straight no matter which way you put the pin in so it only went through half way. Because of that it caused the pin to stick out and make it a little sketch to put heavier weights on it. Not mention it is super sharp so had to make a make shift cover. One you start hammering the pin in, no way it’s coming back out. I would 100% recommend paying more for 1 solid piece bar than one that require assembly or at least this one. I would try to get a refund but I have no way to send it back because I cannot dissemble the bar now. Used pliers and a few other tools and nothing worked so just hoping it doesn’t snap mid set lolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job.
Explaining my 'value' rating--ALL of this weightlifting stuff--bars plates, etc. was a lot less expensive before the pandemic and retail stores ran out. Call it 'supply and demand', or whatever excuse people like to use. Only has one securing pin whereas it's clear that there are holes for two. It would be more stable. As is, the bar moves at securing point. Otherwise it works the way it's supposed to. I'm not afraid of it breaking, even so.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Overall a very cheaply made curl bar.
The bar’s design is flawed. The bar comes in two pieces and is held together with two Carter pins. The first time I used it the head of the pins tore the vinyl on my workout bench. Also the bar shape puts extra strain on the wrist when used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
