Reviews
Uncut (p.77) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "An ageless juxtaposition of Stanshall's middle-class fragility, Neil Innes' pop sensibilities and Roger Ruskin Spear's endearing lunacy." Record Collector (magazine) (p.84) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he doo-wop delirium of Viv's 'Canyons Of Your Mind' scores the most emphatic bullseye."
Additional information
This is a repackaged and remastered set containing four complete Bonzo Dog Band albums from the '60s -- Gorilla, The Doughnut in Granny's Greenhouse, Tadpoles, and Keynsham -- along with the 1972 reunion set Let's Make Up and Be Friendly. Also included are nine bonus tracks. It's not a bad way to acquire the albums if you don't already own them, but isn't recommended for the casual fan. ~ Al Campbell
