So much watch for the money!
Frederique constant is a pretty great brand. This watch is what I consider the perfect size at 40, has a beautiful understated dial that is a slate like color with a understated sunburst, nicely decorated in-house movement, beautiful shape and finished case, the strap and deployment clasp are Average and this is so noticeable because of the exceptional quality of the rest of the watch. Its not the end if the world, there are alot of manufactures that are guilt of the same with straps. Frederique Constant make beautiful watches that are well crafted and reliable. They even manufacture their on In-house movements, amazing at this price point. Finish and detail is excellent, the movement is nicely decorated. I think the reason they don't get the amount of recognition they deserve is because they are also competing in the lower priced quartz movement and Gold PVD plating. There is nothing wrong with that market and those watches. But it leaves their 3 to 6 thousand dollar retail watches not getting the consideration they truly deserve. Dollar for dollar Frederique constant has a better watch than its main competitors in my opinion. If you buy one go for their In-house movements, you won't regret it.
