The ongoing saga takes place in the region of Midsomer County, where Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) sets about solving baffling crimes with the aid of his protégé (Ben Jones (Jason Hughes). This box set contains four feature-length installments, which originally aired between May and August of 2008: MIDSOMER LIFE, THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW, DAYS OF MISRULE and TALKING TO THE DEAD.
