Appropriate Drive
If you're buying this, a specifically Sun-branded, 72 GB, 10000 RPM SCSI Seagate Cheetah, odds are you have a Sun server or workstation that uses specifically Sun-branded, 72 GB, 10000 RPM SCSI Seagate Cheetahs (in my case a Sun Fire V250). If this is you (especially if you have a Sun Fire V250; can't vouch for other servers), this is the right drive, and it even surprisingly came with rails. If this isn't you, you're probably better off buying a product compatible with your setup. In general, if it isn't 10-year-old server equipment, it probably doesn't use SCSI, and you can get much higher capacity drives for newer systems. In summary, if you need a specifically Sun-branded, 72 GB, 10000 RPM SCSI Seagate Cheetah, then you need a specifically Sun-branded, 72 GB, 10000 RPM SCSI Seagate Cheetah.
