I purchased this printer because I'm getting a business on the road to success. I want brochures and fliers printed & found to have someone else print them was goint to cost more then I wanted to pay out & there prices was based on how many I had printed. If I wanted to make any changes in those items I would be stuck with items I really didn't want to use. I priced many printers that I felt was going give me what I wanted and would last for good length of time. I reached the cost of keeping different types of printer, compairing the cost of ink cartridges, toner, paper and anything else I felt I may need during the time of use. The reviews on this print were good. I've been very pleased with my purchase of this printer. It had low paper printer count less then 10k and the price was reasonable. The brochures that this printer prints are top quality on HP 160 lb glossy triflod paper & 90 lb standard paper.I printed many pictures of my product on them and they are first quality. I was shocked when I saw the first copy come out of this printer. I knew that I had made the best choose in buying this one. The only thing that I have to get straighten out is with the refurbished toner cartriges I purchased from someone else, sometime I get a few spots of colored dots where they shouldn't be. I believe the toner roller isn't getting cleaned well all the time when the printer goes in to the cleaning mode. As I said I believe this is a toner cartridge issue. The scanner put out just what I wanted copied in color. I have neaver been so glad to get rid of my HP inkjet printer. Inkjet cartridges were costing me a lot of money. I feel that the money I will save on not having to buy so many inkjet cartridges will in the long run pay for this printer. Now I need to sell my Lexmar inkjet printer.Read full review
I have read over the other reviews here and find much to agree and disagree on. I was an IT Professional for 34 years and have long been a fan of this printer. The features on it are all you could ask for in a Workgroup/Small Business printer. Flatbed and Sheet Fed scanner, Fax and color printing. As for WiFi, if you have ever tried running a WiFi connected printer to your laptop along with using the Wifi on your laptop into your network, NOTHING BUT HEADACHES folks! That's why I never hook up printers on WiFi, always use the hardwire ethernet connections. Better performance and way easier setup on your network PC's. As for the comment about only working on Windows XP, that is hogwash. I have used this printer on XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10. The Driver package which you can download from HP was written for Windows 7, but will install and work on all Windows version from 7 on up. Who would be using XP anymore anyway? he number one drawback and ONLY drawback on this printer is the toner expense. You an get genuine HP black toner 2-packs for around $125 and many places sell generic HP compatible color toner packs for about $125 for the 3 color cartridges bundle. But you get what you pay for. This is a real workhorse printer and you won't be disappointed.Read full review

Heavy duty, prints fast. Less function than I thought but reliable. With the price, I wish it could hold more paper, had wifi capability, easy to use and has more fast draft option for printing, does not have much options for printing economically. Good enough fro small business
Can't find scanner drivers, doesn't work with anything but widows XP
