    "RAM" gear always a solid mounting option

    I use this on my windscreen crossbar on my R1200GS Adventure for mounting an iPhone in an X-Grip clamp. Also use RAM mounts for my UHF radio, and Garmin 590LM on the handlebars. All work flawlessly. Not a cheap piece of gear, but extremely sturdy to suit rough off-road work. You'll only have to buy it once - cheaper gear just doesn't cut it for rough conditions.
