Awesome Lettuce Crisper and Keeper!
I absolutely love this Lettuce Crisper and Keeper, and the plastic knife that came with it. These are fantastic for Iceberg Lettuce. Just cut out the core of the lettuce with the plastic knife (lettuce will go brown if cut with a stainless steel knife), then upturn the lettuce and run it under cold water. The water gets in between the leaves, yet keeps the lettuce intact. Once that's done, put the lettuce on the spike and any water that you haven't shaken out already, will drip into the well, which can be emptied any time. Now, your lettuce is also washed and crisp. I can't recommend this Lettuce Crisper too highly. Outstanding!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
