Only 15 years old and already an antique, I refurbish these as a sideline but that won't make my review dishonest When it works great and aaarrhh when it doesn't The most common problem I find is simply the wrong charger, iPhone chargers are not powerful enough, 2.1 A or higher is the best I'd say that 90% of the not working for spares only ipods I buy burst into life as soon as connected to the right charger and then once I replace the old swollen battery the hard drive problems go too Put one on a now cheaply available bose sound dock to really appreciate the sound quality

Good sound quality and easy to use. The downside by my buying a used one was the battery had deteriorated and only lasts 5-6 hours compared to the new estimate. Still good if you are prepared to charge regulary
We now have our music collection back! The reconditioned Ipod works a treat. We are delighted it was easy to transfer the collection stored in our Itunes. Very happy.

I have never owned an ipod as I felt the normal MP3/MP4 players that were available were sufficient. However, I saw this item and read the reviews on the seller and decided to take a bit of a leap of faith and buy it.It is a touch of class, although not as bang up to date as some of the latest models, the feel and sound of it are bang on.Getting on to the apple web site was easy and moving music from my CDs was a breeze. I have also bought a micro hifi which has the ipod dock (as they all seem to have now) and this has even enhanced the pleasure of the ipod. So the bottom line is I am well chuffed at making this purchase, the ipod classic is groovy.
I bought this as a reconditioned unit with new battery. It ticks all the boxes. Not much more you can say about this what is not already known. Just have to be a bit more careful as songs are stored on hard drive rather than the newer ipods which are solid state memory.
