Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in iPods & MP3 Players
I have long wondered why anyone would spend the extra money on a iPod when there are great products like this on the market for so much less. I have purchased several of these as gifts and have used them myself and they are great. 4gb is enough space for most people but with the MicroSD slot you can expand the capacity all the way to 36gb. The clip makes it a great device to use while working or working out and it has all the features you really need on an mp3 player. The battery lasts about 15 hours so even after heavy listening it only needs to be charged every couple days. The interface is simple as is loading music onto it. Another thing I can't stand about iPods is that you have to use iTunes. With this device you just plug it in and copy files the same way you would with a flash drive. If you're looking for a simple device for working out or a gift for someone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles, the Sansa Clip is a great choice.Read full review
Oddly enough, what I got had a circular "dial", not a squarish one as in the picture in this request for a review, and according to my memory it is a Sansa Fuze, not a Sansa Clip+ . And examination with a loupe shows the word "FUZE" at the bottom of the back side, next to "MADE IN CHINA". Actually, it is the eighth and probably last Sansa MP3 player I have bought. On the whole I am very pleased with them; the Fuzes are an advance on the earlier models (E260 and so on) because they allow folders (in the ordinary computer sense) to be effective playlists. On the earlier ones I could never figure out how to create playlists except by using album names to function as playlist names, which required massaging individual "songs" to change their album names, and then contriving to copy a list of "songs" into the wanted physical sequence in the memory. Very educational. It had all started with an Ipod I received as a gift. It did what I wanted, and playlists are pretty convenient, but why do you have to use Itunes to load it ? And why can't you copy "songs" out of it ? Well I know why. Anyway Ipods are absurdly expensive. One non-Fuze Sansa with "Rhapsody" in its name was a particular pain in the neck, but finally I made it do what I wanted. The other three non-Fuzes ultimately did what I want, and I was glad to have them. The prices on Ebay were very reasonable -- the expenditure of my time was enormous, but I am retired, so ho-hum. The Fuzes, suffice it to say, are what an MP3 player should be. However, the fourth one I bought (a red one, so that we would instantly know which was my wife's) is the only dud. The socket for plugging in the earphones is loose, so you have to wiggle the plug to make a good connection, and then not disturb it. But I (not my wife) will live with it. Why did I buy eight ? Well, they seemed like such bargains. How long will they last, especially if second-hand ? I have noticed over a long life that when you find something really good, you should buy a lifetime supply, because they will infallibly stop making it.Read full review
The Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus may look like a toy and not a serious MP3 device but don't be deceived. I have had a few players and found this one to be the best all around device available. It is miniture in size, convenient carry and clip on to where you want it, has awesome sound and an endless amount of storage capacity. The Clip Plus is a modestly priced MP3 that delivers all day long. It's easy to use, you can drag and drop files with no special software required. It is a convenient digital sound recorder, plays FM radio and is ready to play SR prerecorded songs or books throught the micro SD expansion slot. If your a serious listener, or want a great player to listen to audio books, this is the one for you. It's vertually indistructable, plays up to 16 hours on a charge and delivers the best fidelity possible. I use mine for audio books and find the progressive fast forward scan indespensable for scanning large sound files of 300mb or more with no wasted time. Dollar for dollar this little player blows the Ipod away!Read full review
I bought the Clip+ to replace my aged and dying Sansa C250. And I bought this particular colour and capacity simply because it was the cheapest deal I could find. The first thing I did was load Rockbox onto it, and hence why I have given features 3/5. The OF is useless, and I especially don't care for the refresh that happens after I load/remove songs, which takes quite a while with a 16GB memory card installed. Now that I've got the bad points out of the way, I shall focus on what makes this player shine. Sound Quality under Rockbox. Compared to the old C250 (also running Rockbox), this thing is light years ahead, and with some very slight EQ tweaks it sounds better than my Zune 120. My Clip+ is partnered with a pair of JVC FXT90s, and together they are a very formidable combination. I have also installed a Sandisk Class 4 16GB microsd card, and Rockbox, as earlier mentioned. The unit is very responsive, not showing lag anywhere in the menus or when loading songs. Battery life has actually improved with Rockbox, I normally recharge it every other day. The player shines in portability, something the C250 lacked; the clip feature is wonderful, especially when I wear my athletic gear, I just clip it to the inside of my shorts and forget its there. Do NOT let the size of the display put you off from buying this unit. It maybe small, but the OLED display is extremely sharp and responsive and does not cause fatigue in your eyes. And finally, the controls are easy to use, even for someone with big fingers like me (I have trouble typing on the iphone sometimes), you will know exactly which button you're pressing.Read full review
I have to say that I'm amazed with the sound quality of this tiny MP3, special when it's low price is taken into account. My previous MP3 was an Cowon iAudio X5, and even thhough Cowon obviosly has a few issues when it comes to how to treat their buyer, there's absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to sound quality. The Sansa Clip+ however do have a few minor issues regarding the sound - it is not as good as the iAudio X5. On the other hand, the price is almost ridiculously cheap and the MP3 is almost so small that you lose it in your own pocket. With this taken into account, I think it's amazing how much bang-for-the-buck this player offer, but as stated above, if extremely good sound quality is the only thing you're looking for, I still would recommend an iAudio.
THIS IS NOT MY FIRST SANSA CLIP. THIS IS MY 4TH. Unfortunately, the fact that the Clip is disposable is the only downside to it. The battery will stop charging at the 1 year mark. Random buttons will stop responding anywhere between 3 and 12 months. But until then, the Clip is awesome! Great features, easy to use, excellent sound quality! Just get prepared to buy another one next year.
Holds lots of books and that is without the extra slot for the SD card. I figure 12 books is plenty to carry around, and it is so easy on Audible to delete books and put new ones on, no need to avoid changing what I have on there. Charges in about an hour and lasts probably 8 hours of play time, maybe more. Easily a day's worth of playing. It is so small people ask me what it is when clipped to my lapel and can't believe I can have so much storage and play time on it. Relieves boredom when in Costco and the grocery store. What can be better.

I was looking for an mp3 player that I could take on the go. It had to have enough volume to compete with car noise. This one is great. It clips onto my clothing making it easy to take with me. Has a large capacity. I can put multiple books on it along with my music. Initially it took a little bit to be able to find all of my stuff, but once I learned it got much easier. You have to scroll through the different categories. But I love it now. Absolutely love it.
This is my second Sanza. I would still have my first one, but it fell off my motorcycle and was run over multiple times. Like the first one this one delivers great sound, is easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time. It quickly reads my micro SD card, that had a number of CDs ripped to it, without any problems. An MP3 device I would certainly recommend.

I owned the first generation clip, and the 4gb clip+ retains everything that was great about the first while adding all around refinements, like the power button and mini-SD slot. I really like the expandable memory. Also, I don't need gimmicks such as touch screens and web browsers, so this player is the best on the market for value, size, and quality and absolutely perfect as a no-thrills media player. Pros: Small and lightweight, expandable memory up to 32gb, inexpensive, superior sound quality, FM tuner with ability to preset stations, supports different file formats, voice notes, equalizer to custom set desired settings, drag and drop capability [no need for those intrusive music cataloging programs]
