    Good stuff!

    Replaced the front amber-tinted 3157 incandescent parking/directional bulb in my '94 Chevy Lumina APV van with these and had problems getting them to work at first. I've never replaced exterior lights with LED's before and didn't know that I needed electronic flasher units for proper operation. I didn't need the drop resistors because this year and make of vehicle doesn't have the CANBUS or any other light-monitoring computer on board, it still has the old OBD1 system and good, old fashioned normal wiring on the lighting. After installing non-polarity, electronic flashers, these 3157 Switchback replacements work beautifully and are very bright. In parking mode, they glow a nice white and light up the front of the vehicle for that little extra visibility, and the directional light side of these is very distinct and bright. Make sure you check your state's vehicle lighting regulations, too. The white for parking in a clear lens is fine unless it's too bright for on-coming traffic and/or can be seen from the side of the vehicle directly, and the yellow directional color is mandatory on all cars in the front.
