The Ultra Wide Angle Lens
If you are looking for a really good ultra wide angle lens then this one fits in the category of the best. It has a minor deficiency that you cannot fit a lens hood but there’s little else negative.

Outstanding view
Very wide angle of view with minimal fisheye distortion. Reasonably durable - but don't dare get it even slightly wet. Very sharp picture although the f4.5 is a little slow - hey, you can't have everything!

It's quite a germ
This lens is great for its price. Image quality is impressive. It has significant distortion but it is expected and could be used to create spectacular landscape photos. For architectural photography, I use DXO optic pro and view point to correct it a bit. It is often compared with the Nikon 10-24 DX, but with $400 less and 2mm more on the wide side, I have nothing to complain, especially I shot mostly landscape.
