About this product

Product Information

For photographers looking for a single lens to cater to their varied requirements, the Sigma DC OS HSM zoom lens is an ideal choice. This Sigma camera lens for Canon can be used for wide-angle as well as telephoto shots, as it has a focal length of 18 mm - 250 mm. With a construction of 18 elements in 14 groups, this 18-250 mm f/3.5-6.3 lens corrects aberrations while capturing photos. The optical stabilizer function in this Sigma camera lens for Canon combats camera shake when shooting moving objects. What’s more, the minimum focusing distance of 45 cm of this 18-250 mm f/3.5-6.3 facilitates excellent close-up shots. Plus, the petal-shaped lens hood on the Sigma DC OS HSM reduces glares and reflections. Moreover, this Sigma camera lens for Canon accepts 72 mm filters, helping you to add a variety of effects to the photographs.

  • Sigma 18 - 250mm lens

Works very well, comparable to Canon lenses. One lens covers the range of the 2 Canon lenses. The Sigma is great value for money. Very happy with Sigma purchases. Much less cost than comparable focal length other lenses.

  • Good travel lens

The lens is good all round lens although sharpness falls off a bit on the higher end of the zoom range and the lens tends to extend a bit when pointing down. Focusing is good but manual focusing is tricky with such a small rotation. I found F6 - 8 gave about the best over all definition

  • Sigma 4883954 18 - 250mm lens

The lens is very easy to use, it is the same type of control as the Canon lens, I am a amateur photographer still playing with the lens.

  • Sharp as a pin.

I took a few pictures with my old Sigma lens without OS and then took the pictures again with my new lens and the improvement was staggering. Just fantastic!

  • Great for traveling.

Took it to Europe on an old Nikon D70s, and it was fantastic, not a compliant. The best lense for travelling. I fully recommend it.
