Had one of the earlier models of this watch 20 or so years ago, it served me well working in the wilds of Oman. It still works too. This is a simple watch with a few handy functions (I was a land surveyor!) To date over approx. a month it's kept time to the second perfectly. It's not glamourous or really stylish, just practical and functional at a sensible price.

For the money I expected something more accurate and reliable. I bought it mainly for the compass to save me carrying a proper compass with me. I have to calibrate the compass every time I want to use it, as the display is always flashing, without anything magnetic being present. I carry a compass with me now, as I can’t rely on the watch to give accurate readings.

My first pro trek by Casio. This is their second generation 'triple sensor' watch. I don't bother with the altitude feature, but the barometer is very useful as a way of keeping abreast of any changes in the weather. Sunset/ sunrise times are a nice feature. Overall, I'm very pleased. Unfortunately, the pro-trek display tin was missing.

Very clear display. Good light. Handy for seeing what the weather will be like. I like the sunrise and sunset times function. This watch is definitely " Man Size ".

Better than the SGW400 series as it doesn't have analogue function which used to obscure the digital display.

Casio 2016 model -good watch but do not rely on its altitude and bearing for pinpoint accuracy As an everyday watch and out on a hike or into the water -brilliant. Does everything you'd want a Casio to do with a degree of ruggedness too.

As with almost any watch in this price range. The altitude meter is wildy inaccurate. Varying by up to 1000ft as it is based on atmospheric pressure which changes with the weather. Not GPS. Other than that the watch is ok. Fairly comfy.

It's hard to find a watch with all these functions at anywhere near this price range. It's comfortable, not too big, very easy to read, all parameters like barometric pressure and temperature can actually be calibrated and reset if needed. I like the ease of use and multi function nature, along with easy to use buttons. Temp gauge is extremely useful and barometric pressure reading indicates what the weather's doing, rather than being an accurate altimeter. Light aircraft pilots measure altitude via barometric pressure on the altimeter, calibrated to the local QNH/QFE level for accuracy when landing, so not a valid criticism in the previous review which also doesn't take into account the huge battery drain of GPS. Great watch for the money, with the pro versions costing 4-5x more.
