Good unit once you deal with the quirks of timings.
I am slowly getting used to this unit. My main gripe is you can't feel the pressure float valve lock into place or see it "drop" as the instructions say. I'm just getting used to working on faith, a bit risky with a pressure cooker. Having said that I've cooked some great meals on the pre-set pressure cooking settings, and am now venturing into trying to manually set cooking times. I've yet to use the slow cooker functions but have no reason to believe it wouldn't work well if you can manually set it for longer than the pre-set max of 3 hours. My assessment is this is a poor man's Instant Pot and works well for the cost.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dented and Sticks
The pressure cooker is great because it's super fast cooking, but the non-stick bowl is not so non-stick, I've followed the included recipe book and cooked the roast chicken twice and it sticks and burns on the base every time, even with the olive oil being used. Cannot get the burnt off the base. The unit arrived with a big dent in the back, this doesn't effect the cooking, but doesn't look good sitting on my bench top.

Flavour fast and still fabulous.
The Healthy Choice Pressure cooker is great when running late and needing a meal fast. I have made curries, ragu's and soups, all made in a fraction of the usual time and still with amazing depth of flavour. The only negative I have is the browning/sautee part. It can be a little slow. If in a rush, I tend to brown of meat and cook out spices on the stove as its quicker. Otherwise, I really like it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

the manual is hard to understand, strong plastic smell upon first use and the actual inside pot has the worst non stick coating I have ever seen.
