Works well, needs a little bit of wiring
I used this adapter to retain the original Toyota reversing camera in a 2019 Hilux. This adapter did require some wiring and was not just a simple plug in solution. I had to run 12V power to the adapter and an earth and I also connected up a reversing signal wire from the Hilux wiring loom. Then it just plugged into the original Toyota connector and had the RCA connector for the after market head unit. This was much less work than wiring in a replacement reversing camera and it works fine. The camera activates quickly when I put the car in reverse and the image quality is not reduced from how it was on my original head unit

N0 instructions on how to connect the 3 wires that do not plug in. Pretty useless for “Plug and play”
