Awesome Grill
Cooking on this grill for the first time, my impression is that it is awesome. I grill outdoors every weekend. I've used a custom made charcoal/wood grill/smoker which will not burn the meat, and I have a $3200.00 high end propane grill in my outdoor kitchen. Both are awesome to use, although I prefer the charcoal grill over the propane because of the flavor it gives to the meat. This grill compares quite favorably to what I've used. It is easy to use. It has easy access to the coals/wood, and is easy to light and to keep clean. It has good vents and baffles to enable you to control cooking temperature. But more importantly, it easily maintains a relatively constant temperature over 2-3 hours without much attention. I was highly surprised that my first attempt at cooking on this grill proved to be effortless, and the chicken and pork cooked evenly without burning. The meat was cooked all of the way through and yet was not over cooked and was moist! The seasonings used on the meat permeated the meat all of the way through. I grill every weekend, and I am looking forward to grilling on this unit again! I still have much to learn to get the best out of this unit. This unit is a wonderful replacement to my custom made charcoal/wood grill/smoker, which I used every weekend for 12 years until it literally fell apart.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
